Hey everyone, I'm a nurse at the local hospital and Household incomes average around $82,424 in Raleigh. Crime rate is something to consider — Raleigh sits at 255.7 per 100K. The weather takes some getting used to. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. What would you do? Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The city has invested a lot in new development. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look.
