Curious what people think. Poverty rate is 6.8%, which is pretty low. It's a a small town city with about 6,619 people. Median household income is $91,629, which feels pretty solid for the area. Rent is about $2,840/month for a decent place. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The suburbs are where most families end up.

Weather-wise, the summers are excellent and winters are growing. You get used to it after the first year.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are pretty good, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.

Used to live on the Uptown side, now on the Fairview side. Completely different vibe. it was the best decision I ever made.

I'm a chef and I've found it's been a really good experience overall. The community is underrated and there's always something going on.
