Working remotely from Rancho Cordova — my experience
I've been working remotely from Rancho Cordova for 15 years now. Here's my take:
The pace of life here is perfect for remote work. No crazy commute stress, affordable living, and enough amenities to not feel isolated.
Cost of living: a bit high but manageable
Internet: Decent, getting better with new providers
Coworking spaces: Limited but the library works in a pinch
If you're looking for a place to WFH, Rancho Cordova is a solid choice.

Can confirm the safety issue. But it really depends on the neighborhood. Old Town and Cedar Hills are perfectly safe.
