Cost of living reality check — Rancho Cucamonga

Longtime lurker here, I'm originally from Albuquerque and Homes are going for about $694,400 on average. Household incomes average around $109,511 in Rancho Cucamonga. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. What are your go-to spots? Appreciate any input. The suburbs are where most families end up. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The city has invested a lot in new development. The suburbs are where most families end up.

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is pet-friendliness. it was the best decision I ever made. Worth doing your research before committing.

Public transit is improving here. You'll probably need a car for most things. it exceeded my expectations.
