Freelancing from Rancho Cucamonga — experience?

First post here. Crime rate is something to consider — Rancho Cucamonga sits at 278.9 per 100K. Rent is about $2,286/month for a decent place. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Any advice would be great. It's changing fast — some good, some not so much.

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. I love the pace of life here. Internet is surprisingly good in most areas.
