Anyone else feel this way? With a population of 175K, Rancho Cucamonga is a mid-size city. Homes are going for about $694,400 on average. The weather takes some getting used to. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Thanks in advance!

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are average, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.

I've lived in South for about 15 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.
it's exactly what I was looking for. When I first moved here from Minneapolis, I was surprised by traffic. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.
A few things worth knowing:
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- Strong job market in several industries
- The community vibe scene is decent
The downsides:
- Not very walkable outside downtown
- Limited high-paying job options
Overall I'd rate it 9/10 for young professionals. Definitely worth checking out..
