Unpopular opinion about Rancho Mirage
Been meaning to ask this. I relocated for work and With a population of 17,375, Rancho Mirage is a small town. The unemployment rate is 4.2%, which is about average. Household incomes average around $109,943 in Rancho Mirage. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years.
Pros:
- Good job market
- Low taxes
- Active local events
Cons:
- Limited public transit
- Hot summers
- Poor road conditions

There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting.
