Best industries in Rancho Palos Verdes right now

Anyone else feel this way? I'm originally from Indianapolis and It's a a smaller city city with about 41,259 people. Average temperature is around 63--F, so the weather is moderate. Median household income is $175,307, which feels pretty solid for the area. Rent is about $3,501/month for a decent place. Property taxes are high but you get good services. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Let me know your thoughts. Thanks in advance! Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood.

Weather-wise, the summers are surprisingly good and winters are pricey. You get used to it after the first year.
