Best restaurants in Rancho Santa Margarita?

Hello, I'm retired and Poverty rate is 4.7%, which is pretty low. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. I'd say it's better for families than young singles.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a chef who relocated here from Phoenix about 2 years ago. The main reasons were cost of living and school.

Pros I've experienced:
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- Low crime in most neighborhoods
- Decent public transit for the size

Cons that are real:
- Limited public transit options
- Rising rent and home prices

Financially, we've found it average compared to where we came from. If you look outside the main areas you can find deals. Groceries are reasonable, gas is excellent.

Socially, I have mixed feelings honestly. Would recommend to anyone considering it..

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem average.

I've been here 1 years and it exceeded my expectations. The thing nobody mentions is public transit. It's manageable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the public transit is legit. And if you're into photography, this place is solid.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Riverside side vs the Cedar Grove side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a teacher who relocated here from Houston about 7 years ago. The main reasons were quality of life and my partner's job.

Pros I've experienced:
- Good healthcare facilities
- Decent public transit for the size
- Good internet infrastructure

Cons that are real:
- Urban sprawl is real
- Not a lot of cultural diversity

Financially, we've found it average compared to where we came from. Older homes are where the value is. Groceries are reasonable, gas is better than expected.

Socially, it was the best decision I ever made. Would recommend to anyone considering it..
