Job market in Randallstown for tech?

Hi all, Median household income is $88,544, which feels pretty solid for the area. Homes are going for about $306,000 on average. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Should I be concerned? Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.

Bought a house here in 2024 and the quality of life is solid. Property values have gone up significantly since then.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a chef who relocated here from Salt Lake City about 6 years ago. The main reasons were my partner's job and family.

Pros I've experienced:
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- Low crime in most neighborhoods
- Active local events and festivals

Cons that are real:
- Traffic during rush hour is rough
- Bugs and humidity in summer

Financially, we've found it tough compared to where we came from. If you look outside the main areas you can find deals. Groceries are established, gas is hit or miss.

Socially, it's not perfect but it works for me. Happy to answer more specific questions..

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are better than expected, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.
