Random thought, My partner and I are It's a a smaller city city with about 34,683 people. Homes are going for about $463,500 on average. The suburbs are where most families end up. Thoughts? The food scene here is surprisingly good. The suburbs are where most families end up. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting.

As someone who grew up here, I genuinely enjoy living here. A lot has changed in the past few years though. dating scene used to be much pricey but now it's improving.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.
I'm a electrician who relocated here from New York about 12 years ago. The main reasons were a job opportunity and school.
Pros I've experienced:
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- Decent public transit for the size
- Good airport with direct flights
Cons that are real:
- Dating scene is rough
- Bugs and humidity in summer
Financially, we've found it underrated compared to where we came from. Older homes are where the value is. Groceries are manageable, gas is challenging.
Socially, it's exactly what I was looking for. Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..
