Anyone work in healthcare in Rapid City?

Not sure if this has been asked before, but I'm single, late 50s, and It's a a smaller city city with about 76,836 people. The unemployment rate is 2.0%, which is pretty low. Average temperature is around 48--F, so expect cold winters. Household incomes average around $65,712 in Rapid City. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Is this normal for Rapid City? It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The suburbs are where most families end up. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The city has invested a lot in new development.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 3-bedroom. it's been a really good experience overall. Compared to San Francisco it's hit or miss.

Weather-wise, the summers are solid and winters are established. You get used to it after the first year.

Public transit is solid here. You'll probably need a car for most things. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now.

I've been living here for 13 years and I'd say it exceeded my expectations. The community vibe is tough compared to other places I've lived. Overall Would recommend to anyone considering it..

Used to live on the Maple Ridge side, now on the Greenfield side. Completely different vibe. it was the best decision I ever made.
