Is Rapid City walkable?

Anyone else feel this way? I'm originally from Denver and With a population of 76,836, Rapid City is a smaller city. You can expect to pay around $1,053 for rent here. The suburbs are where most families end up. Does this match your experience? The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. I'd say it's better for families than young singles.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are challenging, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.
