Studio apartments in Rapid City -options?

Not sure if this has been asked before, but I'm originally from Raleigh and It's a a smaller city city with about 76,836 people. The median home value here is around $270,000, which seems about average. Rent is about $1,053/month for a decent place. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Would love some local perspective. Looking forward to hearing from you all.

I've lived in Midtown for about 2 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

I'm still on the fence after all this time. When I first moved here from LA, I was surprised by pet-friendliness. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- Four distinct seasons
- The healthcare scene is hit or miss

The downsides:
- Property taxes are high
- Road conditions need improvement

Overall I'd rate it 7/10 for families. Good luck with whatever you decide..
