Is public transit usable in Rapid Valley?

Been meaning to ask this. I'm retired and Crime rate is something to consider -Rapid Valley sits at 286.3 per 100K. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a project manager who relocated here from San Francisco about 5 years ago. The main reasons were retirement and weather.

Pros I've experienced:
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- Diverse dining options

Cons that are real:
- Traffic during rush hour is rough
- Limited shopping options

Financially, we've found it underrated compared to where we came from. Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. Groceries are pricey, gas is underrated.

Socially, it's exactly what I was looking for. Feel free to reach out with questions..

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is food scene. it's been a really good experience overall. Worth doing your research before committing.
