Longtime lurker here, I'm a college student here and The median home value here is around $48,200, which is actually reasonable. Average temperature is around 74--F, so it's warm year-round. You can expect to pay around $945 for rent here. Homes are going for about $48,200 on average. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly.
