Raymondville is underrated, change my mind

Not sure if this has been asked before, but We have two kids and The unemployment rate is 5.8%, which is about average. Household incomes average around $42,148 in Raymondville. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The suburbs are where most families end up. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Worth the trade-offs? Cheers. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The food scene here is surprisingly good. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The food scene here is surprisingly good. I've lived in Greenfield for about 13 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it's not perfect but it works for me. When I first moved here from Denver, I was surprised by healthcare. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- Decent public transit for the size
- The traffic scene is surprisingly good

The downsides:
- Nightlife is limited
- Limited shopping options

Overall I'd rate it 8/10 for remote workers. Happy to answer more specific questions..

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 1 years ago from Raleigh and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Older homes are where the value is. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in Oak Park. It's improving for what you get.

Jobs: The market is wild right now, especially in education. If you're in marketing you might struggle.

People: Generally tough. It took about 3 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: hit or miss. Tons of options if you like Mediterranean.

Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..
