Hey everyone, Household incomes average around $103,158 in Raymore. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Am I overthinking this? The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.

Public transit is hit or miss here. You'll probably need a car for most things. it's improved dramatically in recent years.

As someone who grew up here, there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. A lot has changed in the past few years though. nightlife used to be much stable but now it's hit or miss.

I've lived in East for about 9 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.
there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. When I first moved here from Nashville, I was surprised by outdoor recreation. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.
A few things worth knowing:
- Good schools in most areas
- Four distinct seasons
- The pet-friendliness scene is improving
The downsides:
- Chain restaurants dominate
- Homeless population growing downtown
Overall I'd rate it 8/10 for families. Would recommend to anyone considering it..

I'm a sales manager and I've found I love the pace of life here. The community is hit or miss and there's always something going on.

As someone who grew up here, it's exactly what I was looking for. A lot has changed in the past few years though. public transit used to be much competitive but now it's excellent.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are challenging, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want outdoor recreation, then yeah this place is great. But if cultural scene matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.
