Best coffee shops in Raytown?

Curious what people think. Just moved here 17 months ago and Crime rate is something to consider -Raytown sits at 691.3 per 100K. Average temperature is around 55--F, so expect cold winters. You can expect to pay around $1,213 for rent here. Rent is about $1,213/month for a decent place. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The weather takes some getting used to. TIA! The food scene here is surprisingly good. The city has invested a lot in new development. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem average.

I've been here 6 years and I love the pace of life here. The thing nobody mentions is healthcare. It's competitive and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the traffic is legit. And if you're into camping, this place is challenging.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Midtown side vs the Highland side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..

I've lived in South for about 6 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it's exactly what I was looking for. When I first moved here from Atlanta, I was surprised by school system. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- Nice parks and green spaces
- The food scene scene is hit or miss

The downsides:
- Summers can be brutally hot
- Homeless population growing downtown

Overall I'd rate it 7/10 for singles. Would recommend to anyone considering it..

My experience has been mostly positive. it was the best decision I ever made. The only thing I'd watch out for is weather. Other than that, Feel free to reach out with questions..

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is housing market. it's improved dramatically in recent years. Worth doing your research before committing.

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. it exceeded my expectations. Internet is pretty good in most areas.
