Grocery stores in Raytown -recommendations?

Curious what people think. You can expect to pay around $1,213 for rent here. Average temperature is around 55--F, so expect cold winters. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Cheers. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Night life is decent if you know the right spots.

I work in hospitality here and I love the pace of life here. The job market for my field is decent. It's not for everyone but it works for us..

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want housing market, then yeah this place is great. But if job market matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a software engineer who relocated here from Dallas about 2 years ago. The main reasons were work and my partner's job.

Pros I've experienced:
- Lots of new development happening
- Four distinct seasons
- Affordable housing options

Cons that are real:
- Not a lot of cultural diversity
- Can feel isolated

Financially, we've found it hit or miss compared to where we came from. The market is competitive but not impossible. Groceries are stable, gas is pretty good.

Socially, it's not perfect but it works for me. It's not for everyone but it works for us..
