OK so I relocated for work and With a population of 25,448, Reading is a smaller city. Crime rate is something to consider -Reading sits at 11.9 per 100K. Average temperature is around 51--F, so expect cold winters. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Anyone in a similar situation? Looking forward to hearing from you all. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The city has invested a lot in new development. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. I'd say it's better for families than young singles.
