Reading quality of life -am I missing something?

Longtime lurker here, I work in healthcare and Household incomes average around $163,725 in Reading. You can expect to pay around $1,722 for rent here. The unemployment rate is 2.1%, which is pretty low. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The food scene here is surprisingly good. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Would love some local perspective. TIA! Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The suburbs are where most families end up. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The weather takes some getting used to. Property taxes are high but you get good services.
