Curious what people think. Born and raised here. Crime rate is something to consider -Reading sits at 865.1 per 100K. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The city has invested a lot in new development. Anyone in a similar situation? TIA! The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. It's not perfect, but the community is solid.
