I'm single, late 30s, and With a population of 94,836, Reading is a smaller city. The weather takes some getting used to. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The city has invested a lot in new development. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much.
