Weekend activities in Reading?

Hey everyone, You can expect to pay around $1,018 for rent here. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. What are your go-to spots?

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are pretty good, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.

I've lived in East for about 9 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

the quality of life is solid. When I first moved here from Boston, I was surprised by dating scene. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Decent public transit for the size
- Good airport with direct flights
- The traffic scene is surprisingly good

The downsides:
- Traffic during rush hour is rough
- Road conditions need improvement

Overall I'd rate it 9/10 for remote workers. Hope this helps!.

Weather-wise, the summers are hit or miss and winters are established. You get used to it after the first year.
