So, I'm a nurse at the local hospital and The median home value here is around $176,200, which is actually reasonable. Average temperature is around 64--F, so the weather is moderate. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Am I wrong here? Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The food scene here is surprisingly good.
