Job hunting in Red Bank -tips?

Hey everyone, I'm single, late 20s, and You can expect to pay around $1,118 for rent here. Crime rate is something to consider -Red Bank sits at 416.0 per 100K. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The weather takes some getting used to. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Thoughts? Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The city has invested a lot in new development. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.

I've lived in Downtown for about 10 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it exceeded my expectations. When I first moved here from Minneapolis, I was surprised by healthcare. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- The public transit scene is average

The downsides:
- Limited shopping options
- Far from beaches/mountains

Overall I'd rate it 9/10 for couples. Would recommend to anyone considering it..
