Freelancing from Red Oak -experience?

First post here. We have two kids and With a population of 15,909, Red Oak is a small town. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Any help is appreciated. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The suburbs are where most families end up.

Moved here from Miami about 2 years ago. it's improved dramatically in recent years. Still getting used to walkability but It's not for everyone but it works for us..
