Curious what people think. I work in healthcare and Rent is about $1,323/month for a decent place. Average temperature is around 63--F, so the weather is moderate. The suburbs are where most families end up. The food scene here is surprisingly good.

I'm a project manager and I've found I have mixed feelings honestly. The community is underrated and there's always something going on.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.
I'm a electrician who relocated here from Boston about 7 years ago. The main reasons were a job opportunity and a fresh start.
Pros I've experienced:
- Nice parks and green spaces
- Four distinct seasons
- Close to major attractions
Cons that are real:
- Limited high-paying job options
- Property taxes are high
Financially, we've found it decent compared to where we came from. Lots of new construction which should help. Groceries are reasonable, gas is tough.
Socially, it was the best decision I ever made. Definitely worth checking out..

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are decent, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want nightlife, then yeah this place is great. But if traffic matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.
