Commute times in Redding -how bad?

Anyone else feel this way? My family moved here when I was a kid. It's a a smaller city city with about 93,268 people. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. What neighborhoods would you suggest? Night life is decent if you know the right spots.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are excellent, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is walkability. I genuinely enjoy living here. Worth doing your research before committing.
