Average temperature is around 65--F, so the weather is moderate. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Does this match your experience? People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The city has invested a lot in new development. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The weather takes some getting used to. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse.

Public transit is average here. You'll probably need a car for most things. I genuinely enjoy living here.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem underrated.

I've been here 13 years and it's exactly what I was looking for. The thing nobody mentions is housing market. It's wild and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the housing market is legit. And if you're into hiking, this place is decent.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Sunset side vs the Pine Hills side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Hope this helps!.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want dating scene, then yeah this place is great. But if public transit matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.
