I'm single, late 30s, and Poverty rate is 7.2%, which is pretty low. The unemployment rate is 3.1%, which is pretty low. With a population of 35,161, Redmond is a smaller city. Homes are going for about $435,000 on average. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The city has invested a lot in new development. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Is this normal for Redmond? It's not perfect, but the community is solid. I'd say it's better for families than young singles.
