Rent vs buy in Redmond -what makes sense?
OK so I work in food service and Homes are going for about $1,091,700 on average. The unemployment rate is 3.0%, which is pretty low. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. What do you all think? I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Property taxes are high but you get good services. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly.
