Hello, I grew up here but left for a while. Rent is about $2,562/month for a decent place. The unemployment rate is 3.9%, which is pretty low. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The weather takes some getting used to. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Would love some local perspective. TIA! Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.
