Anyone else feel this way? I'm retired and Homes are going for about $1,225,400 on average. Crime rate is something to consider -Redondo Beach sits at 237.1 per 100K. Rent is about $2,562/month for a decent place. You can expect to pay around $2,562 for rent here. The weather takes some getting used to. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.
