Housing market in Redondo Beach right now

Anyone else feel this way? I'm retired and Homes are going for about $1,225,400 on average. Crime rate is something to consider -Redondo Beach sits at 237.1 per 100K. Rent is about $2,562/month for a decent place. You can expect to pay around $2,562 for rent here. The weather takes some getting used to. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Anyone in a similar situation? Thanks! Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The weather takes some getting used to. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.
