Life in Redwood City as a young professional

OK so Been living here since 2017. Median household income is $150,840, which feels pretty solid for the area. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Am I overthinking this?

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 13 years ago from Tampa and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. We're paying /mo for a 3-bed in East. It's improving for what you get.

Jobs: The market is growing right now, especially in government. If you're in retail you might struggle.

People: Generally solid. It took about 17 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: improving. Tons of options if you like Mediterranean.

Would recommend to anyone considering it..
