With a population of 25,446, Reedley is a smaller city. You can expect to pay around $1,198 for rent here. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. What do you all think? Any help is appreciated. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting.

I've been living here for 1 years and I'd say it was the best decision I ever made. The healthcare is improving compared to other places I've lived. Overall It's not for everyone but it works for us..

Came here for a job opportunity and stayed because it's been a really good experience overall. The safety is honestly tough and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

Came here for family and stayed because it's improved dramatically in recent years. The cost of living is honestly hit or miss and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

I've lived in The Heights for about 8 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.
I have mixed feelings honestly. When I first moved here from Raleigh, I was surprised by housing market. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.
A few things worth knowing:
- Close to major attractions
- Strong sense of community
- The cost of living scene is challenging
The downsides:
- Urban sprawl is real
- Homeless population growing downtown
Overall I'd rate it 9/10 for young professionals. No regrets on my end..
