What to expect moving to Rehoboth Beach?

Not sure if this has been asked before, but I work in media and Homes are going for about $1,238,400 on average. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood.

My experience has been mostly positive. I have mixed feelings honestly. The only thing I'd watch out for is traffic. Other than that, Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a writer who relocated here from Tampa about 8 years ago. The main reasons were a fresh start and family.

Pros I've experienced:
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- Nice parks and green spaces

Cons that are real:
- Winters are long and cold
- Bugs and humidity in summer

Financially, we've found it average compared to where we came from. Older homes are where the value is. Groceries are competitive, gas is excellent.

Socially, I love the pace of life here. Definitely worth checking out..
