Been meaning to ask this. Household incomes average around $83,764 in Reidland. Rent is about $1,056/month for a decent place. It's a a small town city with about 4,887 people. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The suburbs are where most families end up. The city has invested a lot in new development. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look.

We moved here with our family and I love the pace of life here. Schools in Greenfield area are surprisingly good. Kids love it here.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.
I'm a marketing manager who relocated here from Seattle about 15 years ago. The main reasons were a fresh start and school.
Pros I've experienced:
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- Good healthcare facilities
- Lots of new development happening
Cons that are real:
- Homeless population growing downtown
- Bugs and humidity in summer
Financially, we've found it challenging compared to where we came from. Older homes are where the value is. Groceries are wild, gas is pretty good.
Socially, it's not perfect but it works for me. Happy to answer more specific questions..

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.
I'm a data analyst who relocated here from Atlanta about 7 years ago. The main reasons were a fresh start and my partner's job.
Pros I've experienced:
- Lots of new development happening
- Four distinct seasons
- Lots of family-friendly activities
Cons that are real:
- Property taxes are high
- Dating scene is rough
Financially, we've found it average compared to where we came from. The market is competitive but not impossible. Groceries are competitive, gas is hit or miss.
Socially, it's improved dramatically in recent years. It's not for everyone but it works for us..

My experience has been mostly positive. it's been a really good experience overall. The only thing I'd watch out for is public transit. Other than that, Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

Came here for family and stayed because the quality of life is solid. The cost of living is honestly better than expected and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. it was the best decision I ever made. Internet is tough in most areas.
