Affordable areas near Reinbeck?

I'm retired and Median household income is $85,962, which feels pretty solid for the area. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Has anyone dealt with this? Thanks in advance!

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are better than expected, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.
