Job hunting in Reisterstown -tips?

Longtime lurker here, Been living here since 2010. The median home value here is around $332,300, which seems about average. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Anyone in a similar situation? Thanks for reading. The suburbs are where most families end up. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look.

Came here for family and stayed because it was the best decision I ever made. The housing market is honestly improving and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, I love the pace of life here. Good luck with whatever you decide..

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. it's not perfect but it works for me. Internet is challenging in most areas.

I've lived in East for about 3 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

the quality of life is solid. When I first moved here from Raleigh, I was surprised by community vibe. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- The nightlife scene is pretty good

The downsides:
- Winters are long and cold
- Nightlife is limited

Overall I'd rate it 5/10 for singles. Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

As someone who grew up here, it's not perfect but it works for me. A lot has changed in the past few years though. outdoor recreation used to be much stable but now it's underrated.
