Things Reno city (Lamar County) needs to improve

I grew up here but left for a while. Rent is about $1,116/month for a decent place. You can expect to pay around $1,116 for rent here. The unemployment rate is 3.6%, which is pretty low. With a population of 3,478, Reno city (Lamar County) is a small town. The food scene here is surprisingly good. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Has anyone dealt with this? Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The city has invested a lot in new development. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The weather takes some getting used to. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting.
