Is Reno worth it salary-wise?

First post here. I work in retail and Poverty rate is 7.4%, which is pretty low. It's a a mid-size city city with about 269K people. The median home value here is around $498,600, which is pretty steep. The food scene here is surprisingly good. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The suburbs are where most families end up. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.

Bought a house here in 2018 and it's not perfect but it works for me. Property values have gone up a bit since then.

Bought a house here in 2022 and it was the best decision I ever made. Property values have gone down slightly since then.

Came here for school and stayed because it exceeded my expectations. The job market is honestly better than expected and I don't see that changing anytime soon.
