Best neighborhoods to rent in Renton?

So, We have two kids and You can expect to pay around $1,923 for rent here. Poverty rate is 5.1%, which is pretty low. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Does this match your experience? It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The city has invested a lot in new development. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years.

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, it was the best decision I ever made. Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value weather, you'll love it. The traffic is genuinely decent and I've found I'm still on the fence after all this time. My neighborhood (Highland) is reasonable and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Dallas, be prepared for the culture shock. cultural scene is completely different here. And Traffic during rush hour is rough.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.

I'm a social worker and I've found I love the pace of life here. The community is surprisingly good and there's always something going on.
