Housing in Reston compared to Tucson

Random thought, I'm a teacher here and Homes are going for about $616,000 on average. Average temperature is around 54--F, so expect cold winters. You can expect to pay around $2,170 for rent here. Poverty rate is 3.6%, which is pretty low. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The weather takes some getting used to. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want job market, then yeah this place is great. But if weather matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

Bought a house here in 2016 and it's improved dramatically in recent years. Property values have gone down slightly since then.
