Hey folks, My family moved here when I was a kid. Average temperature is around 51--F, so expect cold winters. It's a a smaller city city with about 59,933 people. With a population of 59,933, Revere is a smaller city. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The city has invested a lot in new development. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.
I'm a marketing manager who relocated here from Raleigh about 5 years ago. The main reasons were retirement and family.
Pros I've experienced:
- Good schools in most areas
- Nice parks and green spaces
- Diverse dining options
Cons that are real:
- Traffic during rush hour is rough
- Bugs and humidity in summer
Financially, we've found it pretty good compared to where we came from. Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. Groceries are wild, gas is improving.
Socially, it exceeded my expectations. Definitely worth checking out..

I've lived in North for about 8 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.
I have mixed feelings honestly. When I first moved here from Phoenix, I was surprised by outdoor recreation. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.
A few things worth knowing:
- Good schools in most areas
- Close to major attractions
- The traffic scene is surprisingly good
The downsides:
- Not very walkable outside downtown
- Limited high-paying job options
Overall I'd rate it 7/10 for singles. It's not for everyone but it works for us..
