Commute times in Revere -how bad?

Been meaning to ask this. I'm retired and Crime rate is something to consider -Revere sits at 322.4 per 100K. Rent is about $1,966/month for a decent place. With a population of 59,933, Revere is a smaller city. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Let me know your thoughts. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus.

My experience has been mostly positive. it's exactly what I was looking for. The only thing I'd watch out for is nightlife. Other than that, Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..

I've lived in Riverside for about 6 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it's been a really good experience overall. When I first moved here from Salt Lake City, I was surprised by school system. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- Low crime in most neighborhoods
- The job market scene is solid

The downsides:
- Limited public transit options
- Rising rent and home prices

Overall I'd rate it 9/10 for remote workers. Feel free to reach out with questions..

I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. When I first moved here from New York, I was surprised by pet-friendliness. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Good schools in most areas
- Decent public transit for the size
- The safety scene is underrated

The downsides:
- Limited high-paying job options
- Dating scene is rough

Overall I'd rate it 6/10 for retirees. No regrets on my end..

Moved here from Tampa about 8 years ago. I'm still on the fence after all this time. Still getting used to community vibe but No regrets on my end..

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem better than expected.

I've been here 6 years and I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The thing nobody mentions is school system. It's wild and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the nightlife is legit. And if you're into photography, this place is challenging.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Riverside side vs the East side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Definitely worth checking out..
