Housing market in Revere right now

Not sure if this has been asked before, but I grew up here but left for a while. It's a a smaller city city with about 59,933 people. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a pharmacist who relocated here from LA about 10 years ago. The main reasons were family and a fresh start.

Pros I've experienced:
- Low crime in most neighborhoods
- Decent public transit for the size
- Strong job market in several industries

Cons that are real:
- Road conditions need improvement
- Dating scene is rough

Financially, we've found it tough compared to where we came from. Lots of new construction which should help. Groceries are developing, gas is excellent.

Socially, I'm still on the fence after all this time. Happy to answer more specific questions..

As someone who grew up here, it's exactly what I was looking for. A lot has changed in the past few years though. nightlife used to be much pricey but now it's hit or miss.
