Is Revere worth it salary-wise?

Hey everyone, I'm a teacher here and Average temperature is around 51--F, so expect cold winters. Rent is about $1,966/month for a decent place. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Is this normal for Revere? Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. I'd say it's better for families than young singles.

I've lived in Westside for about 9 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it was the best decision I ever made. When I first moved here from Austin, I was surprised by public transit. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- The cultural scene scene is tough

The downsides:
- Limited high-paying job options
- Dating scene is rough

Overall I'd rate it 7/10 for remote workers. Give it a chance - it might surprise you..
