What I wish I knew before living in Revere

I'm originally from New York and You can expect to pay around $1,966 for rent here. The median home value here is around $566,200, which is pretty steep. Rent is about $1,966/month for a decent place. Average temperature is around 51--F, so expect cold winters. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The city has invested a lot in new development. What would you do? Thanks for reading. Property taxes are high but you get good services. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The city has invested a lot in new development. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem improving.

I've been here 4 years and it's been a really good experience overall. The thing nobody mentions is pet-friendliness. It's stable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the pet-friendliness is legit. And if you're into mountain biking, this place is solid.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Old Town side vs the East side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Give it a chance - it might surprise you..
